In 2011 owner and current managing director, James Hayes started Hayes Garden Machinery on the back of a 10 year landscaping career. It was clear that there was a demand for a dedicated local garden machinery dealer capable of covering the whole of North Devon. Not only a company from where you could purchase a quality new or used machine but one which could also offer you a full service and back up facility, this is why Hayes Garden Machinery in South Molton was formed.
In 2015 Hayes Garden Machinery won the coveted ‘Garden Machinery Dealer of the Year’ award presented by ‘Service Dealer’ the National Trade Magazine and in 2016 were short listed from 2000 dealers nationwide for the same category which is a fantastic achievement for a relatively young company.
